FAQs
-
We're pretty quick around here! Ready-to-ship orders typically leave our little corner of Colorado within 1–3 business days. Once your order is on its way, you'll receive tracking information so you can follow along.
-
We can certainly try! If you're outside the United States and have your eye on something, send us an email before ordering. We'll look into shipping options and costs for your location. Just keep in mind that any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees are your responsibility.
-
We know buying clothes online can be tricky, especially when there's only one of everything! We do our best to provide accurate sizing information, so please check the measurements before ordering.
If your new favorite thing arrives and the fit isn't quite right, reach out within 24 hours of delivery. While all sales are final, we're happy to discuss whether an alteration or another solution might be possible. No guarantees, but we'll see what we can do!
-
Because our pieces are handmade and one of a kind, all sales are final, and we don't offer standard returns or exchanges.
That said, we're reasonable people. If there's an issue with your order, please get in touch. We'll review the situation and see what options are available. This doesn't affect your rights if an item arrives damaged or defective.
-
Yep! One of one means exactly that. Each piece is individually made by hand using a unique combination of found, vintage, and repurposed textiles.
We might revisit a design or silhouette, but the exact same piece? Probably not happening.
-
Not exactly! Once a piece sells, it's gone. We may revisit a design or make something similar down the road, but because we work with found and vintage textiles, recreating the exact same piece is pretty much impossible.
That's part of the fun! You never quite know what we'll find next.
-
That's always the goal! We spend a lot of time hunting through thrift stores, estate sales, and anywhere else we might stumble upon something interesting. Quilts, tablecloths, curtains, old clothing, blankets… if we love it, we'll find a way to give it another life.
Occasionally, we may use new materials when necessary for construction, durability, or a custom request. But giving old things new purpose is at the heart of what we do.
-
Sometimes! Our materials have had lives before becoming your new favorite thing, and that can mean subtle fading, variations in texture, or other small signs of age.
We think those details make each piece more interesting, not less. We do our best to inspect our materials and make sure everything is ready for its next adventure.
-
Maybe! Since most of our pieces are made from one-of-a-kind materials, we can't always recreate something exactly. But if you love a design and wish it came in a different size or color, reach out!
We offer custom commissions and would love to see what we can come up with together.
-
Absolutely! Have an idea for a jacket, pants, a bag, or something we haven't even thought of yet? We'd love to hear about it.
Head over to our Custom Commissions page to learn how the process works, or send us an email with your ideas and a few reference photos.
-
We love this idea! Have an old quilt from your grandmother? A tablecloth that's been in the family forever? Maybe a piece of fabric you've been holding onto because you just knew you'd find a use for it someday?
We'd love to hear about it! Reach out through our Commissions page, attach a few photos of what you have and an idea of what you'd like to turn it into. We'll take a look and let you know what's possible.
Not every material is suitable for every project, but we're always happy to explore the possibilities. There's something pretty special about turning a piece of your own history into something you can wear.
-
Because we work with such a wide variety of vintage and repurposed textiles, care instructions can vary from piece to piece. Always follow the care information provided with your garment.
When in doubt, a gentle approach is usually best. These pieces have already lived one life, and we'd love for them to stick around for another.
